Raised in a multigenerational home filled with affection and indulgence.

1981 – 1990

Formative Years with Father

Sent to live with his father, where early experiences of hardship and instability shaped his resilience and courage. Twice he ran away from home — the beginnings of a lifelong journey toward self-determination.

Academic Excellence

Emerges as Delta State's top student at junior and senior secondary levels; wins state and national academic prizes and JETS competitions.

1995

University Admission

Gains admission to study Medicine and Surgery at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

Medical Graduate

Graduates as a medical doctor and begins professional practice.

2006

Near-Death Experience

Contracts and survives tuberculosis, a near-death experience that reshapes his sense of purpose.

Career Pivot

Publishes his personal manifesto, "Why I Am Leaving Medicine", marking a bold professional and personal pivot. Transitions from medicine to management consulting and joins Phillips Consulting, Lagos.

2008

Banking Transition

Joins United Bank for Africa (UBA) to lead strategic web communication and transformation initiatives.

Marriage & Career Change

Marries; also leaves UBA (United Bank for Africa), marking the end of his first corporate chapter.

2010

Integrity Test & First Business

Faces a major integrity test at work — a humbling experience that sparks deep self-reflection and the pursuit of authentic leadership. Launches his first consulting business later that year. His daughter Bella is born.

2012

International Recognition

His son Joseph is born. Receives an invitation from Strathmore Business School, Kenya, to co-lead their Social Media Summit for CEOs — his first international faculty appointment, marking the start of his Pan-African thought-leadership journey.
